The buzzword that Raf Simons was inspired to create a collection of sunglasses, manufactured by Safilo, for Spring Summer 2013 is: freedom. The muse for the designer of the House, is a Demoiselle, a young lady, wearing glasses a little 'pin-up, a little' pop in sophisticated materials, metallic and transparent, molded in architectural lines softened that blend with the silhouette presented on the catwalk.
The color choice embraces the pastel palette of spring meadows, where the very names of the colors evoke poems: twilight green, blue lights, powder pink combined with gray lenses, also mirrored. The CD logo, ça va sans dire, is a precious detail: inserted in the temples, they turn golden light transparency.
