L'ARTE DELLE PAILLETTES
Lucenti, brillanti, scintillanti, colorate, le paillettes!
La nascita di questi accessori da ricamo, è stata il frutto di una serie di sconvolgimenti politici e sociali che scossero l'Europa del settecento.
Il personaggio di maggiore spicco fu Georges Frèdéric Strass, nominato
"Re jeweler" nel 1734, al quale si deve l'invenzione delle paillettes,
ancora oggi utilizzate nella bigiotteria.
Gli anni Settanta è stato il periodo di maggiore utilizzo delle
paillette, quando esplose la moda del genere glam-rock che in quel
periodo andava per la maggiore, come ci testimoniano gli splendidi ricami di
alta moda di Pino Grasso che, formatosi tra l'Italia e la
Francia, proprio a Parigi ha potuto fare conoscenze e amicizie con personaggi di
rilievo nel mondo dell'artigianato.
L’azienda leader nel settore è la società di Langlois Martin
fondata nel 1919, specializzata nella produzione e progettazione del
glitter di alta qualità che offre una vasta selezione di paillette di
qualsiasi forma o colore per soddisfare le volontà del cliente.

PARISIAN STYLE
La prossima meta è proprio Parigi, la città dell'amore, della moda ma specialmente dell'alta moda, la couture, che sa rendere ogni persona speciale, unica, e ovviamente bellissima.
Ho quindi selezionato qualche capo, la maggior parte disegnati da stilisti che presentano le proprie collezioni a Parigi, che mi hanno fatto ricordare, in qualche modo Parigi, e non solo, ma che mi hanno fatto anche pensare al mondo della couture.
